Today’s Sunday cake contains two ingredients that I think are absolutely delicious: Toffifees and Nutella! So the result can only taste good! We share our recipe for Toffifee-Nutella muffins!
Toffifee-Nutella-Muffins – Ingredients
(sufficient for one muffin tray for 12 muffins)
100 grams Nutella
200 grams sour cream
80 ml milk
60 ml oil
80 grams sugar
200 grams flour
100 grams ground hazelnuts
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 bars hazelnut chocolate
36 Toffifees (and more can also not harm)
How to make the Toffifee-Nutella muffins
One, turn on the stove and heat it up to 180 degrees. Whisk the egg with the sugar and stir in the Nutella, sour cream, oil and milk. You can use sunflower oil or rapeseed oil, but please do not use oil with a strong taste like olive oil. Maybe you have to warm the Nutella in a water bath beforehand, then stirring will work better.
Now mix the flour with the ground hazelnuts and the baking powder in another mixing bowl.
3. simply mix the contents of both bowls briefly and the dough is ready! You can distribute it in the muffin bowls and then press a Toffifee into each bowl. Place the muffins in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
4. eat a muffin secretly before it cools down. The melted Toffifee in the muffin tastes especially good warm!
5. while the remaining muffins continue to cool, chop a few Toffifees roughly. Leave eleven (or twelve) for the decoration and chop the rest!
6. Melt the two bars of hazelnut chocolate in a bain-marie. Whether you use chocolate with whole hazelnuts or small pieces of hazelnuts, it doesn’t matter, both taste great! If you still have a normal chocolate coating at home, you can simply use these and add a few chopped hazelnuts. When the chocolate has melted, remove the container from the stove and quickly stir in the pieces of Toffife. Make sure that the chocolate is not too hot, because the Toffifees should not melt completely. Give each muffin a chocolate toffee cap. Let the chocolate coating cool down a little before the next step.
Finally, press a Toffifee into the homemade chocolate coating of each muffin.
Bon appetit and have fun baking,
