Guide to installing vinyl flooring (step by step, installation and floor preparation)
In order to lay a vinyl floor, the sub-floor must be level. So adjust with the PVA mass and after drying take care of the sanding to keep it straight. And finally, wipe off any traces of dust so as not to disturb the rest of the installation.
Ideally, the installation should be done by a professional in the area, but if you want to dare to do this, take a step-by-step look at:
- Start distributing the rulers by leveling the largest wall, this area will be the base of the installation;
- Apply the adhesive directly to the substrate and to the ruler to be assembled.
- Spread the glue and wait 15 minutes.
- Place the first ruler near the wall and repeat the process until the row ends.
- In the next row, position another ruler using the same procedure as in the first row.
- In the corners and at the end of the procedure, pass the pin to remove the burr;
- And so the process is complete until it covers all floors.
